| Sometimes I forget as to why God put me here in St. Louis. I'm not sure why I am here but I do know that I'm at the right place. Some days I feel like there would be no other place right for me than here and sometimes I feel like I have gone deaf from hearing what God is calling me to do. I know it's not true but sometimes I feel like the only people that really care is just God and my family. I have so much more to talk about but do not feel like opening myself up anymore. | | |
| It has definitely been awhile! I would write forever but instead I'll just summarize what has been going on.
Fall semester is over and ended with A's and B's which hasn't happened for awhile for me because i usually have at least one C.
I switched my major from Elementary Education to double majoring in Psychology and Human Services
I have kept close with a few friends and got to know someone with a fun character
I am having surgery on Friday
I can't wait to go back to St. Louis, then again it's kind of nice to step away from somewhere that I'm at from 7:45am to about 10pm every day except Friday's.
And there it is.......

| Went to a free Cardinals game tonight.....not sure if I was really suppose to go or not because the trouble of getting there and back was just amazing. First, we get lost going to the metrolink because the address that was shown was actually the address of Jack in the Box. On the way I was drinking my Propel water and while I was drinking it it was making a funny noise. Lacy starts busting up and so I was taking a drink and I start busting up. I didn't want to spit it out but I guess I held it too long and i was trying to swallow it but I ended up choking horribly to the point where I was trying to throw up to get some air and get all that water out but it wasn't working. Finally I was able to swallow the rest down at a time but it was definitely scary. Then we finally got to the stadium and we were about a half an hour late. The best thing was that WE WON!! woohooo!! Then after the game we walked down the same ramp that we came up to get back on the metro which was a big negative. We realized we needed on the other side but couldn't get there. So we had to ride that train one stop, get off, get on another and we thought we were on the right track but really we got on the wrong one!! So we got on five metros just to go home. It was an amazing, memorable night.
Plus another great thing abou today was that one of Lacy and I's friends is letting me borrow her guitar so I'm hoping I learn and if so then I'll probably buy my own sometime. YAY!! | | |
| I looked on the MBU website and had been seeing where it said "Passion07" and I wanted to know what it was but I never had time to check it to see what it was about. Finally after work yesterday I looked to see what it was about and I knew that I wanted to go after I read it. Plus it's only $99. to go from January 1st to the 4th!! I thought that was a really good price. So I just have to remind myself to get signed up before Sept. 13 before the price goes up. If you go to MBU and you are reading this you should definitely GO!!! I believe it's a conference and there are speakers there, bands, and a good chance to meet other Christians from around other campuses. I'm pretty psyched!! woot woot! lol | | |
